Chris & Trudy Ridgers are the new RO and Deputy for Somerset region
Hi Folks!
As all your cars seem to be appearing from their winter slumber and are currently being fettled by Big Col at TVRSSW, it would only seem right that we show our support at their open day this year! Date this year has been changed to the 25th May, which is a bank holiday Monday. Starts at 11:00. Finishes at 16:00 TVRSSW address is. Unit B1 Monument View Chelston Business Park Wellington TA21 9ND There will be a BBQ, and plenty of other stuff happening. Final details to be confirmed. As always, the event will be in aid of charity, so bring some cash! Also on the same day, Benn and myself are relaunching the Somerset region of the TVRCC, so we would like to see all members there if possible. We would like to also invite any prospective members as we have a few copies of the club magazines and membership forms for you to fill out. We will plan a run out that morning which will start at The Toby Carvery(Blackbrook Inn), just off Junction 25 of the M5, and arrive at TVRSSW at 11:00. Final details to be confirmed. We will keep this page updated during the coming weeks. Even if you don't own a TVR, you would be made welcome to come and have a look round at some of Blackpool's fine creations! Hope to see you all there! Stay safe Paul Now that the better (?) weather is here the growl of TVR's is once again heard in Somerset!!
If you go to the 'Events' section of our website you'll find our current calendar for the region. I'll try to keep this updated so if I've missed an event that you know about - let me have the details and I'll post them. If anyone out there is able (and willing!!) to take on the job of keeping our website up to date (and doing a lot better job than I can manage.....) please get in touch with me! Chris We'll be making the most of this superb weather on Sunday 14th July with a trip out across the mendips.
If you fancy popping along to join us, we'll be meeting up at the Murco garage, Junction 25 of the M5 at 11:30. Everyone more than welcome. We have just launched our brand new website for the Somerset region.
We will be leaving from Cartgate picnic area on the 303 at 1130 and heading off to Cheddar, then onto The Combe before making our way down to The Queen Vic for a spot of lunch.
New details will be forthcoming as soon as I have them.
